Item Description
3.5x5.5x3" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 5.5" tall celluloid toy w/built-in key. Made in Japan, 1930s and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Lid features three different illustrations of long-billed Donald Duck on sides. Lid features text variety noting toy as "Donald Duck Waddler." Box is evenly aged and shows scattered wear. Lid has one corner split. Still Fine overall for display. Toy has raised "Donald Duck © Walt Disney" names on back of Donald's shirt. Original Japanese inspection label on Donald's belly. Toy works, waddles from side to side. Slight fade blue color to hat and arms, and hat shows some denting w/tiny hole, but o/w free of any cracks. Arms need restrung. Fine overall.
