Item Description
5.5x9.5x3" box w/illustrated lid contains 9" long celluloid wind-up w/built-in key depicting Donald Duck lying low to the ground. Larger of two sizes made in Japan and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. 1930s. Box features different illustrations of Donald on all side panels of lid. Box has even lt. aging and shows just lt. scattered wear w/neat glue repair to 1" lid corner tear. VF. Toy works, moving forward as it waddles about, separate head/neck moving back and forth as a quacking noise is produced. Complete w/original Japanese inspection label on backside. Small dents to tip of outward toes, but o/w toy is free of any cracks and major dents. VF/Exc. Rare an desirable Donald Duck toy, of which we have only offered a few times in our 54 years.
