Item Description
13.25x20" Strathmore artboard has pencil and ink original art by Wally Wood and Ralph Reese. Art is for "T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents" #17, published by Tower Comics December 1967 page 2 from the story "Return Of The Hyena". Page features seven panels, showing Len Brown (Dynamo) talking to Alice and Roxanne and his mother on the phone while lamenting that no one remembers his birthday and in the last panel there is a surprise party for him. Appearance of Weed in two panels. Top margin has stamp and handwritten issue/page numbers. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp. Pencil names Wood/Ditko on back but no evidence that Ditko did art on this page, there are some style cues in the ladies' faces but believe these to just be Wally Wood. Artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins, but art remains clean and VF overall.
