Item Description
13.25x20" Strathmore artboard has pencil and ink original art by Gil Kane w/inks by Jack Abel. Art is for "T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents" #16 published by Tower Comics October 1967, page 2 from the story "One Of Our Androids Is Missing". Page features eight panels, showing Noman mixing in a crowd and slipping into a phone booth that opens a portal into headquarters. Top margin has stamp and handwritten issue/page numbers. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp. Artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins, but art remains clean and VF overall. This story was meant to be used in Noman issue #3 but the book was cancelled, so it was instead inserted into "T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents" #16. Crossed out info at top margin for Noman #3.
