Item Description
2.25" no maker but in official colors and w/very tiny "© NYWF" below the Trylon & Perisphere. By 1939, Dempsey had his landmark New York restaurant and some unknown event paired him on this button naming Billy Taub, who since the 1920s, had been promoting his men's fashion business at 1387 B'way NYC to the sporting world and other celebrities. He would appear at sports dinners and rub shoulders with Dazzy Vance, Primo Carnera, Babe Ruth, etc. who also wore his suits. Thus the slogan "Clothiers To Champions From Coast To Coast".  Two seen. Rare. NM. Paul Muchinsky Collection Photo Example.
