Item Description
10.75x17.25". 1930s. Sheet of thick artboard with watercolor and tempera paint artwork with all text hand-done. Size of art seems to be intended for use as a Sunday comic section ad. Art is quite nice and shows punch-out book, membership card, "Jack Armstrong Air Cadet" insignia, more. Proposed Wheaties premium with illustration of cereal box at lower right and mentions the kit was available for a box top and 10¢. Text includes "In The Near Future, All America Will Fly! Prepare Yourself Today To Pilot The Planes Of Tomorrow." Art has trace of corner tip wear and very light and minor dust soiling but all is still quite bright and strong. VF. Unique. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
