Item Description
13-3/8x19.5" artboard features pen and ink original art for Cave Girl #11, published by Magazine Enterprises 1953. Art is by Bob Powell (1916-1967), a comic artist known for his work during the Golden Age of comics, including Sheena, Queen of the Jungle and Mr. Mystic. Powell also did the pencil art for the iconic bubble gum trading card series Mars Attacks. Art is for page 23 (the final page of the Tiger By The Tail! story) and features seven panels, showing Cave Girl freeing herself from bondage. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Art remains clean and Exc.
