Item Description
7.25x10.5" on Nixon's personal "20 Broad Street New York, New York" stationery dated "October 8, 1965." Nixon writes to "Mr. Rowland G. Saal" in part "No One Can Predict At This Time What The Political Situation Will Be In 1968" assuring Saal that he will work towards Republican's elections in the 1966 mid-term "So That The Republican Candidate For The Presidency In 1968 Will Be Able To Conduct His Campaign From The Strongest Possible Base Of Support." Nixon also notes that he will send "The Autographed Picture You Requested" (see next lot). Signed in black fountain pen ink at conclusion "Richard Nixon." Two horizontal mailing folds. Otherwise only trivial handling. Exc. Comes w/original envelope. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
