Item Description
11x17" offset print on thin stock produced before the show for promotion. Illustrated in King, Herring & Gore authored book Maximum Plunder on p.21. Signed in pencil by artist Mike King in lower right margin. Promoting concerts on Aug. 7 & 8 at Starry Night in Portland, OR and the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA, respectively. Graphic of hand clutching a flaming globe against a peace symbol that was an attempt by promoters (Monqui Presents) to halt violence that had become a feature of many Slayer shows. Bottom l/r corners have diagonal bends most notably a small margin crease at lower left. Extremely Fine. In a wink and a nod to the band's sometimes satanic lyrics artist King added a "667" to his printed signature "MXK" at left of the band image.

Touring in support of their album South of Heaven out nearly a month at the time of these gigs. Though South of Heaven was initially met w/trepidation from some fans and critics, largely due to it's step back from the speed metal of Reign In Blood, the album has aged well and is considered among the groups classics.
