Item Description
1.25" button from small series depicting movie cowboys issued by Freihofer bakeries in Reading, Pa. This design ( unlike previous two for Boyd and Rogers ) does not include a facsimile signature. It does include the back paper reading "Freihofer's/The Perfect Loaf/ Copyright 1942/Jay-Gee/Enterprise/Reading, Pa." While all of these are at least scarce, this Wild Bill qualifies as rare and we've not been able to offer one in two decades. Autry and Charles Starrett are also known. Reflected light reveals short, light scratch across top of his hat. Not seen with normal viewing. High gloss and Exc.
