Item Description
Each is 1.25". Mickey has no back paper while the one on the back of Minnie names Phila. maker James Spencer and includes issuer's text "World's Most Famous Comics/Evening Ledger Every Day". Couple small tan dots on paper. While both buttons have full gloss and gorgeous color, both have some hairline scratches. On Mickey there are about 10 very light and short scratch lines mostly on the red background to the left of his left hand. On Minnie, there are two very minor 1/8" scratches but also a longer one from 11 o'clock edge going into the center which then turns and crosses left side of her dress. In all, this is about .75" long. These buttons in Exc./NM have many sales well in excess of $300 each. While we grade these as Fine, the eye appeal remains outstanding and with full gloss.
