10.5x17.5" on cream color fabric designed like a ballot and used in Pennsylvania. Hake #3014. Top reads list of "Electors" below headline text. Former President Fillmore refused to join the new Republican Party and was the 1856 candidate of the American "Know Nothing" Party. Light age toning and a few light brown spots of toning in the field along lower left and a trivial well flattened horizontal fold at center. VF.
