Item Description
7x9.5" gilt bronze. Text "Abraham Lincoln 1809 1865" along lower edge and "Copyright 1907 by V.D. Brenner" along right edge. Plaque is signed in design w/artist monogram and date. This bust served as the model for the Lincoln penny issued in 1909 commemorating the centennial of Lincoln's birth. Reverse has brass plate attached to plaque by six screws. Reverse w/hinged easel back and loop at top creating two options for display. Exc.
