Item Description
Big 2.25" button w/tin back and long vertical pin, unmarked but made by St. Louis Button Co. This is our first seen example of a very historic souvenir button as TR traveled to St. Louis to make the dedication 100 years to the day after the signing in Paris of the Louisiana Purchase Agreement. He was captured on film doing so. Cream color has gray shows through but still bright unfaded color and glossy. Rare. Fine. See St. Louis, Jamestown and Lewis & Clark expo items in the TR Campaign section.
