15.25x19.75". Postmaster appointment for "John Kane" in "Westchester" County "New York" dated Jan 12, 1894 and signed at lower right in black fountain pen ink "Grover Cleveland." Edge wear including short tears and scattered losses most notably a .5x1" in top left margin. These are contained to the outer margins and will be hidden once framed. Fine. Retains original seal at bottom left. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
