Item Description
21x27.5". Litho by "Designed By C. W. Mott" at lower left. "The Gugler Litho. Co. Chicago & Milwaukee"at bottom right. Poster features a pensive Uncle Sam paying workers Morgan silver dollars as he sits atop the "U. S. Mint". At lower left "Bryan" feeds bricks of silver into the mint from a long line of horse drawn carts leading from the silver mines. To the right the merchant explains to a customer "I'm Not To Blame. I Can't Sell You A Dollars Worth For 53 Cents. I Have Been Obliged To Raise The Price Of My Goods." Other graphic illustrations and extensive text appears throughout. A 4.5" tear at bottom left stabilized by mounting on acid free board. Poster comes w/matte and is ready for framing. Technically Fine but will display Exc. once framed.
