Item Description
2.5x8x7.5" tall toy w/built-in key. Made in Japan, 1930s. Celluloid figure of Donald Duck riding an over-sized Pluto (a matching Mickey Mouse as cowboy toy was also produced) which is attached to tin unit w/wind-up mechanism as well as the painted wood rocker base. Original Japanese inspection sticker on Pluto's underside. Donald holds string reins. Toy works and rocks back and forth. Donald's arms and legs are slightly loose and all celluloid has evenly aged. Spot of dark staining to tip of Donald's bill. Fine overall.
