Item Description
First is 5x10x20" window box w/colorful illustrations and photos contains incredibly detailed 18" tall doll. Has realistically designed vinyl face w/removable hat, one hand w/bladed glove. Outfit is striped wool sweater and black pants. Toy works but is a slt. fast talker w/Krueger-sounding voice w/phrases including "Welcome To Elm Street." Has original price sticker at top right. Box is still sealed by original tape strips with lt. storage wear/aging, two bumped corners but displays Fine. Doll is NM as sealed. Next is 2.25x14x14" deep box w/colorful illustrations and photos contains incredibly detailed 9.5" tall doll. Has realistically designed vinyl head of "Maxx", designed to be a master of disguise w/two piece Freddy mask, removable hat, one hand w/bladed glove and a burnt hand. Outfit is striped wool sweater, black pants and boots. Box is tight with lt. aging/wear overall, dust soiling, minor fading on side panels but still displays Fine. Doll and accessories are NM as sealed. Back of box shows unproduced outfits for Dracula, Frankenstein and The Alien. ©1989 Matchbox The Fourth New Line-Heron Venture. The Freddy Krueger Maxx Fx and Talking Freddy Krueger dolls were quickly withdrawn from sale after complaints from the American Family Association. Matchbox halted the production of the second batch of Maxx FX figures, and did not advertise or promote them in any way as a result of the protest.
