Item Description
First, no maker, is 1.25" for fight "Shelby, Mont. July 4th, 1923". Rim has 50% dark stain. Second is larger 1.5" w/W&H back paper and c. 1926. Tiny text below photo reads "Photo By Atlantic Foto Service". Our first seen, but with crack on edge from 9 to 1 o'clock and then from 11 o'clock across the button, just touching his hair, ending at 3 o'clock edge. Third shows "Tunney/Dempsey" with paper by Lucke Badge, Baltimore. Likely for second fight in Chicago 1927 as Tunney is on the left. One long crack across center crossing Tunney's chin and Dempsey's fist plus a short .25" craze line along left of Tunney's head. Last two are without any stain. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Photo Examples #69, 72, and 80.
