Item Description
At 2.25" this is the earliest large boxing button we or Muchinsky are aware of. Reverse has thin oxidation, remnant of a ribbon top, and long ago a line of solder was added to fix the spring pin in place. Front has rim age from 12 to 2 o'clock and shallow dent at bottom over the letters "Eight". Pictured is "Cleveland's First Champion". High gloss and Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example #30.
