Item Description
9x12.5x4.5" deep illustrated cardboard window box contains four 2.75" to 3.5" tall solid plastic figures by Processed Plastic Company (who also made a "Collection Set" of carded figures), ©1982 Marvel Comics Group. Set also includes "Super Heroes Activator," a device that was attached to the feet of the figures in order to make them battle. Included here are - Captain America, Sub-Mariner, Doctor Doom and Iron Man. Set also includes 20 bagged Army Green soldiers, plastic grappling hook w/60" long "Transport String" and 8.25" long plastic free-wheeling "Combat Pickup" w/Captain America sticker on sides. Box features images of all 12 figures in set on side panels and remains mostly factory-sealed (right side has large split to shrinkwrap) and has bottom left/right corners on front of box w/heavy creasing/denting. Insert features image of Captain America fighting American soldier and is a bit warped. VG. Truck sticker has some aging and is VF overall, but o/w contents are NM as packaged. Despite this attention to detail, this set/figures did not sell well, accounting for their scarcity.
