Item Description
Nice quality 9.5" tall doll w/composition body and movable composition head and arms, dressed in felt/fabric outfit w/separate pressed felt top hat. Knickerbocker, 1939. Doll is complete w/die-cut string tag featuring "Walt Disney's Pinocchio" portrait on one side and Knickerbocker company information on opposite side. Tag has aged piece of tape at top center and is evenly aged. Fine/VF. Back of doll's head has raised "Jiminy Cricket" name and Disney copyright. Top hat has faded w/age and is slightly misshapen. Fine overall, but rest of outfit retains strong color and is Exc. Some gloss loss to shoes, but o/w doll body remains glossy and exhibits lt. surface crazing, which is only visible upon close inspection. Displays VF/Exc. and is as nice as these dolls come.
