Item Description
7x13x4.5" deep plain cardboard box w/Knickerbocker Toy Co. label on one end contains approx. 11.5" tall stuffed velveteen doll w/painted starched linen face. 1938. Knickerbocker made Dwarfs dolls w/composition bodies unlike this stuffed body doll and they also produced a musical Dopey doll as well. Box label has stamped "Dopey" name and shows scattered aging and wear, w/creasing at one corner. Area of penciling to lid. Box o/w remains tight and Fine. Doll features nice quality velveteen outfit w/printed "Dopey" name on front of hat. Metal belt buckle. Doll shows just lt. aging/wear as stored within box over the years and is in much nicer condition than typically seen w/just slight fade to lavender shirt. Exc. Rare as boxed.
