Item Description
Exceptionally large 5.5" dia. embroidered felt patch featuring Disney Studio-designed insignia for US Army Air Corps 63rd Troop Carrier Squadron, featuring portrait of determined-looking Donald Duck overseeing warplane dropping supplies via parachute. Large lightning bolt appears behind Donald. Made in Australia, 1940s. The 63rd Troop Carrier Squadron was part of the 403rd Troop Carrier Group of the 13th Air Force and operated in the Pacific, flying Douglas C-47s. Tiny bit of edge loss, but patch remains bright and clean. VF/Exc. Rare and first we've offered in our 55 years.
