15.5x27x7" deep, this set was manufactured by Ideal copyright 1966 National Periodicals Publications. Considered by many to be the top Batman collectible of the 1960s, this is a near complete boxed set. Set includes "Authentic Hand Painted Figures Of ": Batman, Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman w/rare Ring of Fire, Aquaman, Flash, plus Joker, Sanctuary Mountain, Periscope, Weather Vane Key (set is missing this piece), Bat Car (Batmobile), Bat Plane and Launcher, Reflector Ray Weapon, Console (scattered melt marks on all sides), Robot, & Five Other Arch Enemies,(The Key, Mouse Man, Kaltor, Brainstorm, Thunderbolt). Thunderbolt is missing bolt in hand. Batmobile is free-wheeling (one rocket tube has been replaced). Sanctuary has both doors affixed, launcher has dried rubberband remains still attached and weather vane key is only part missing. Robin figure has chest emblem rubbed off. Mountain insert has some small surface paper pulls where figures were once attached, otherwise bright and clean. Box has some light aging/wear including some faint color rubs, minor lt. tip creases on word balloons around window edge. Box bottom has trace moisture wrinkle. Box window is missing. One of few known near complete sets. Box displays Fine. Overall, playset has a VF appearance. A great piece of Batmania history!
