Item Description
9-1/8x22.75" thin cardboard bus sign issued by the Atlanta Transit System for use on their buses to promote The Beatles' Aug. 18, 1965 concert that took place at Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta, GA, their one and only concert in Atlanta. This concert took place during the band's third US tour and no posters were created for this concert, making this item as close as it gets. Illustration of Ringo Starr at left w/large text noting bus as a "Beatle Bus" w/Atlanta Transit System name and concert date at lower right corner. Sign is evenly aged and has some scattered spots of staining along right margin and lt. corner bumps. Back has spot of surface paper lift and some soiling at top center. Still VF overall. Rare.
