Item Description
1.25" w/union back stamp and "Bastian Bros Co. Rochester NY" on curl. Golden rays emanate from behind a richly colored American flag flanked by oval portraits of candidates against an enchanting lime green background. For extreme accuracy we note a shallow vertical scratch in field at right seen only in reflected light and slightly bumpy surface to touch. Exc. Superb color and displaying beautifully. Far and away the most impressive 1916 Hughes jugate button design.
