3.5". Metal reverse has horizontal bar pin and raised text "St. Louis Button Co."Diagonal scratch from 12 to 9 o'clock and tiny indentations around bump at top right of portrait from bar pin construction. Moderate wear in reflected light from light use. Exc. Rarely offered and in superb condition for a button of this size and age. Similar design can be found in 7/8" and 2.25" but this is the first of this largest variety we have offered.
