Item Description
2.75" w/metal back and horizontal bar pin. Window at center reveals original paper tag w/typed "Lou Hiner/Puliam Papers" and button has serial number "387" at bottom center. Only scattered surface wear from limited use. Exc. Nixon Library records retain a "Strictly Confidential Memorandum" that contains notes on reporters covering the campaign w/a frank assessment of Hiner noting "Republican; Boozes Too Much, Of Little Account Or Use".  Infrequently offered.
