Item Description
5x3.5x2.75" tall. Heavy cardboard box w/padded velvet pin cushion on top lid featuring crossed American flags and slogan "Don't Forget New Orleans" at center. When opened, an etched military portrait of Jackson on green paper is found under glass. Lid is secured to box via two silk ribbons affixed under the colorful paper labels decorating the exterior. An amazing survivor w/only light overall wear. Easily the finest example we have encountered in our 55 years. While we've encountered several different varieties of the Adams boxes, the matching Jackson examples are only rarely offered and this one is as nice as they come. A special opportunity at an impressive Jackson display piece. See following lot for matching Adams.
