Item Description
5.5" dia. rosette w/a 7.5" long ribbon stitched to reverse. At center of rosette is a 1.5" tall applied oval portrait of "Henry Clay." Attached ribbon reads "Young Men's Whig Club Of San Francisco". Produced c. 1851 after Clay passed away in Washington, DC. Light handling and scattered dots of foxing on cream ribbon. Extremely Fine. First we've seen in our 55 years.
