Item Description
This is the larger 9x10.25x2" deep illustrated cardboard display box that contains set Kenner No. 203, which features 15 "Full Color Cartoon Shows" w/total of 105 scenes from three smaller sets released by Kenner in 1966-1968. This set was issued in 1968 and includes Thor, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Daredevil, Iron Man and Sub-Mariner as well as Superman, The Three Stooges, Bozo the Clown, Mr. Magoo and King Kong. Spider-Man image is most prominently featured on the box front w/Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and Sub-Mariner on top edge of box. Included red viewer has not been removed from packaging, strip in viewer w/scene featuring Spider-Man visible. Original store price sticker at upper right corner of header. Boxed section at bottom shows wear w/crease along top panel and at corners (.5" tear at top right back corner). Header is unpunched. Fine/VF. Four of the stereo viewer cards have been stapled together at center (not affecting any images) as issued. "Thor In The Attack Of The Cosmic Creature" card has since come loose and has staple holes w/diagonal crease across center. This card is Fine. Three other cards have some minor age spotting and are VF while rest are Exc. w/o staple holes. Rarest of these viewer sets, our last example sold for $1,328.
