Item Description
.5" to 1.25". Included are: four enamel lapel badges, two litho button and four cello buttons. Some w/light paint wear and moderate age toning. Majority remains clean. All VF to NM. The IWO was a Communist front group in New York operating between 1931-1947 providing members insurance and access to medical clinics. The group was a target of the Dies Committee (HUAC) in 1944 and by 1947 US Attorney General Tom Clark placed it on a list of subversive organizations.
