Item Description
2-13/16". c. 1905. Silvering 98% intact. Curl names American Art Works. Reclining nude woman holding a hand mirror floats on clouds in blue sky while surrounded by winged cherubs. One fusses with her hair, one kisses her cheek, three wrestle with a billowing red fabric and the sixth sits quietly on a cloud next to a quiver of arrows and a bow with broken string. We've seen one previous of this design with imprint for a PA pool hall. This has more elaborate text for "Pryor's Cafe/Williamsport, MD./For All The Leading Brands Pure Bonded Whiskies And Wines/Restaurant Attached, Bowling And Billiard Hall".
