Item Description
1.25" with Balto. Badge & Nov. Co back paper (which carries patent date of 10/1/01). Known as "The Greatest Electric Scenic Production In The World" this ride into recreated history was first introduced at the 1901 Pan American Exposition titled "John Baker's Ride At the Johnstown Flood". When the expo ended early November 1901, the attraction moved to Coney Island at Surf Ave. & 17th St. Soft colors depict a young man on galloping horse while in background figures of a man, woman and child flee for their lives before a roiling wall of water. Rim text "My God The Dam Has Burst/Flee To The Hills For Your Lives." Nine tiny age dots around the reverse collet. Front is clean, glossy and Exc. Scarce. See next related item.
