Item Description
Each is 1.75" tall of low quality (high lead content) white metal. The shape of these and design are identical with primary difference being that one has no plating, one has copper tone and last has silvered gilt. The first two lower fronts say "California 1910" while on third is a scratched in "Reno Nev." replacing California. "Reno Nev" is also scratched in tiny letters below the "Jeffries-Johnson" names at top. The back of this silver version is blank with tiny pinpoint surface indents- almost like strawberry seeds. The other two reverses say "Kill-et California/World's Main Event/Nevada/July 4, 1910". Details of boxers were not great to start and soft metal causes further smoothing but the main features are there. It appears Johnson is left and Jeffries is right. All three fobs are from the Paul Muchinsky Collection with the copper luster version the Paul Muchinsky Book Example. The other two were collected after book was published. Rare.
