Item Description
1.75" w/concave metal back and vertical pin. Tiny text along lower edge "Copyright 1912 R. Caldwell KC Button & Novelty Co." Cartoon graphic of Uncle Sam at left leading a "Houn Dawg" who carries a "T.R" Rough Rider hat in his mouth and waves a "Champ Clark For President" banner from his enlongated tail. In field at right an angry Roosevelt looks on expressing his "Outrage!" Trivial thin diagonal indentation across field from 3 to 7 o'clock that occurred in manufacturing. Otherwise only light wear under magnification. Exc. First we've encountered in our 55 years. Easily the finest Champ Clark button we're aware of and ranks among the most outstanding 1912 campaign button designs for any candidate.
