Item Description
1.25" real photo button w/concave metal back. Pinned to a woven ribbon w/Mexican and American flag design. Ruiz Cortines and Ike dedicated the Falcon Dam on the Rio Grande at the border between Texas and Mexico on Oct. 19, 1953. This button was produced for the event and is rarely offered. Moderate surface wear in reflected light from limited use. Exc. This is the first we've seen w/the original attractive woven ribbon. One of John Pendergrass' favorite artifacts in his legendary Ike collection.
