8.5x12". Chicago civil rights event broadside shouts "The Ku-Klux Klan Is In The Saddle - Riding With Murder, Lynch Law And Bestial Reaction." Robert Wood, Southern Secretary of the International Labor Defense reporting from "Lynch Land" (IDL's work w/the Scottsboro Boys) and Thomas Burke, one of Clyde Johnson's aliases necessary to survive the killing of high profile participants in Alabama's Share Cropper Union (SCU), spoke that day. Orchestrated by the Friends of the Chicago Workers School, dates between 1934-36. Horizontal crease at center and staple holes top left, toning left edge. Fine.
