Item Description
Thicker than usual 3.5" button naming Adcraft, Chicago on the curl and with unusual metal covered back with two small holes and puddle of original solder holding a horizontal brass pin 1-1/8" wide. The group held its first convention April 9, 1904 and lists its founding date as Chicago April 16, 1904. This logo button is from shortly after that first event. The group combined fraternity with insurance needs and peaked c. 1950 with 72,000 members. Rim edge at 4-5 o'clock has .75" long but very shallow dent. Cello is Exc. and glossy. One known to us.
