Item Description
Lot of three heavy cast aluminum injection molds for plastic Disney figures, each mold consisting of three pieces; frame that holds front and back pieces of figure molds. These include molds for Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Nephew, Goofy and Pluto. Each removable mold piece has deeply stamped WDP copyright. 1960s. Consignor's father was a professional mold maker. Initial production cost of these (or any such molds of the time) was very expensive and few survive. Each has some scattered aging/wear and are Fine/VF overall. Neat display pieces and something very different for the Disney collector.
