Item Description
3x12.5x4.25" tall painted tin boat comes in box w/illustrated paper label on the lid. 1930s by Kuramochi & Co. Ltd., Japan. Box has moderate dust soiling, lid has three corner splits. Bottom has some edge creases but remains tight. Still about Fine. Boat has "Miss Liberty" on each side of the bow and comes w/separate tin U.S. flag. Boat has not been tested but is designed w/actual steam engine action. Water is put into the boiler using a small supplied funnel and the fuel tank is lit and placed under the boiler. Steam operates piston and fly wheel to turn the propeller. Underside of boat has about a dozen small scattered 1/8" to .25" paint flakes, rest shows only st. aging. VF.
