Item Description
8-7/8x9-5/8" book w/12 pages, published in Spain during the 1950s as part of a series of color/paint books, this being Series C, No. 2 - Sports. Book features full color examples w/bw pages to color. Disney characters are shown playing (or attempting to play) a variety of sports, often w/humorous results. Those shown include - Mickey Mouse and Pluto (Golf), Goofy (Swimming), Donald Duck (Tennis), Tortoise and the Hare (Boxing), Minnie Mouse (Ice Skating) and Donald's nephews (Football). Front/back covers are repeated within. Book has scattered aging and .75" pull/tear along lower spine on front cover. Fine/VF. Comes w/six 7-7/8x8.75" proof sheets that have been colored as intended. These may serve as some sort of color guides as lower right corners of each bear faint pencil notations. Subtle differences in coloration appear on these pages as opposed to those seen in book. Aged w/scattered handling wear. Fine overall. Scarce foreign issue.
