Item Description
17x25-7/8" thin cardboard poster for Nov. 10, 1979 wrestling show that took place at Toms River High School North in Toms River, NJ. The Main Event was The Valiant Brothers (Luscious John Valiant [1946-2018] and Jerry Valiant) vs. Tito Santana and Ivan Putski. Poster has been signed in blue and black felt tip pen/marker by total of 14 wrestlers, including The Valiant Brothers (including manager and former member Jimmy Valiant) as well as Chief Jay Strongbow (1928-2012), Ivan Putski, Ted DiBiase, Larry Zbysko and others. Of note, poster was also signed by The Great Hossein Arab (misspelled "Hussein" on poster), aka The Iron Sheik prior to his using the name he would be best known by. DiBiase also signed before his run as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. Poster features photos of Putski, Strongbow and The Valiant Brothers. Signature of Bulldog Brower a bit lt. due to marker, but rest remain strong. Someone (presumably fellow wrestler Johnny Rodz) has added mustaches to images of The Valiant Brothers. Poster has some lt. corner tip wear but is still Exc. overall. Historic wrestling poster featuring an early appearance by one of the greatest heels of the 1980s. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA. Signed for and obtained directly from event promoter.
