Notre Dame/Downtown Athletic Club "Heisman Winners" model football has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen on special panel by Notre Dame's Heisman Trophy winners (and College Football HOF members) under their printed names/dates - Leon Hart (1928-2002), Angelo Bertelli (1921-1999), Johnny Lujack, Johnny Lattner (1932-2016), Paul Hornung (1935-2020, Pro Football HOF), John Huarte and Tim Brown (Pro Football HOF). Issued as a limited edition of 5,000 in 1992 by Baden Sports, Inc., ball has been hand-numbered "3039." Ball is slightly deflated but o/w Exc. Comes w/Baden COA. Comes w/8.75x11-3/8" leatherbound hardcover edition of The Fighting Irish Football Encyclopedia (Second Edition), published by Sagamore Publishing, ©1996. Inside front cover/endpaper has had 10 labels added, each bearing signature of different Notre Dame coach/players. These include - Coach Lou Holtz, Ross Browner, John Lattner, Rocky Bleier, George Connor, Angelo Bertelli, Nick Eddy, Tom Gatewood, Bob Gladieux and Allen Pinkett. Two additional Notre Dame stickers and hand-numbered "221/500" appear on endpapers. Comes w/Sagamore COA. NM. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOAs.
