9-3/16" long elaborately carved bone letter opener whose handle is threaded to unscrew revealing a brass shaft holding a steel ink pen point. Viewing hole at top of handle and when held to light easily visible are b/w photos in fancy frame designs of both men w/caption we quote in our title. Exc. Also see Garfield 1880 campaign stanhope.
