Item Description
11x15.5" newsprint complete 16 pages. Terrific cover graphic on this "Oct 12th, 1911" issue of "The Miners Magazine" published by the WFM in Denver, CO. Separation along right edge of center fold and triangle shaped tear affecting p.7-16, not affecting cover graphics. Fine. Canadian ribbon badge w/cello button medallion has text "Rossland Miners' Union No. 38 W.F. of M. Rossland, BC Organized 16th July, 1895." Some loss of gilt text remaining readable and overall handling wear. Fine. Longest ribbon badge features "Member" cello at center of rosette w/text at bottom of ribbon "161/W. F. Of M. Mackay Idaho." Remnants of overlapping ribbon, now gone. Moisture marks and fabric separations from use. VG. A nice group of scarce items related to this important union.
