Item Description
Brass bug is 1.25" tall and 1.5" wide when the wings are open. The McKinley photo is crisp and clean. The Hobart photo has a little toning, but overall still nice clarity on the portrait. Image details are still extremely clear. The bug has very nice bright brass luster, w/a small indentation in the thorax of the bug in between the portraits. The mechanical function works easily and perfectly. Exc. An always popular 1896 piece. Bill Hoffman Collection.
