Item Description
1.75" w/Wm. H. Hoegee Co. Los Angeles, CA back paper. Similar to Hake #67 but here sans text "Teddy's Terrors Los Angeles." This is the only time we can recall encountering this design without imprint text in our 55 years. Design features TR wielding a pair of pistols while wearing a Rough Rider hat w/a wishbone on brim as he rides a rabbit w/bow tied around its foot- all set against a four-leaf clover background. Depictions of a Native American at left and a teepee at right complete the fantastic Western design. Only trivial wear in reflected light. NM. Superb color, high grade and rarity make this an exceptional opportunity not soon to be repeated.
