9.75x6.75x2.75". Blue gray wool w UCV wreath and Alabama state seal button. Red lining boldly stamped Pettibone Mfg Cincinnati Ohio. Minimal moth damage, missing button w/chip to leather binding and separation at tarred leather bill. VF. Green wool w/Georgia wreath, braided cord and lyre brass buttons. C.S. Ashley penned on sweatband. Ashley served in Co. B 28th Georgia Infantry from 1861 to 1865. Minor moth damage. Exc.
